Software Freedom Conservancy is a nonprofit charity that promotes and improves free and open source software projects. Conservancy is home to almost 40 projects, including Git, Samba, Inkscape, phpMyAdmin, Selenium and the award-winning Outreachy diversity program (to name a few). Conservancy also improves software freedom generally by working on nonprofit accounting software and license compliance as part of the GPL Compliance Project for Linux Kernel Developers and the Debian Copyright Aggregation Project.
